When I first learned energy healing, I thought I understood what it was. It was about improving or getting rid of issues in the physical body. I worked with people who had chronic illnesses, people going through chemotherapy and radiation, people recovering from surgery, people who had been seriously injured in car crashes, and people dealing with everyday aches and pains. That was the world of healing as I knew it. Then my understanding began to change... I had gone to her room to work on her physical condition. But as I spent time with her and her family, I began sensing that there was much more happening than what was showing up in her body. There were relationship dynamics. Emotional issues. Things happening between her and various members of the family that felt deeply connected to what she was experiencing physically. And strangely enough, I ended up doing more healing sessions with the worried family members than with the woman lying in the bed! The more healing work I did, especially with hospital patients, the more I began to see that the idea of healing was much bigger than I’d originally thought. Eventually, I realized something very simple: Healing and manifestation are essentially the same thing. Healing is about creating a new reality. That new reality might be a healthier body. But it could also be a more loving, fulfilling relationship. Greater emotional balance. A new financial reality that provides more freedom. A stronger sense of life purpose. Or simply feeling confident enough to try a new venture. From a Lemurian point of view, healing is about bringing yourself into greater alignment with who you really are. And that includes all your dreams, your desires, your passions, and the life you genuinely want to experience. And this is where I think we often get healing backwards. I often tell my clients and students: Life is not a problem to be solved. And healing is not about fixing something that appears to be broken. When all of our attention goes toward what’s wrong, what caused it, or what needs to be corrected, we stay focused on the very reality we say we don't want. True healing turns our attention in another direction. Toward the outcome. Toward a new reality. Toward what we actually want to experience that's different from where we are now. Instead of focusing primarily on the problem in front of us, we can help someone turn toward the new reality they actually want to experience. We can help them focus their attention on that desired outcome and support them in allowing their own natural process of healing to unfold. Because when someone starts believing in their own healing, that's when healing happens. Hit 'reply' and let me know. I'd love to hear from you. With bright blessings, |

I remember working with a healing client who was very clear about what she wanted to heal. “I want more money.” But whenever a client tells me that, I never stop there. That doesn’t give me a clear intention for the healing. I ask questions. I dig a little. What would having more money actually change for you? What would it allow you to do? What would be different in your life? As we talked, it quickly became clear that what she really wanted was her own independent source of income. She...

We love learning about our past lives, our spirit guides, the agreements we’ve made with other souls, and the deeper connections we share with certain people in this lifetime. There’s so much to discover about yourself beyond what meets the eye. Years ago, I learned something that completely fascinated me: Each of us is born...
I still remember the first time I discovered energy healing. It was the first day of my first Healing Touch workshop, and we were learning how to sense subtle energy with our hands. And I could feel it. I could actually feel invisible energy with my hands. It was mind blowing. What amazed me almost as much was that everyone else in the room could feel it too. People of different ages, backgrounds, religions, cultures, and life experiences were all discovering that they could sense and work...
